Singh stated at a press conference in the Indian capital: 'The key agencies of the country are conducting a swift and in-depth investigation into the incident, and its conclusions will be announced soon.' He confirmed that 'the perpetrators of this tragedy will be handed over to the judiciary, and there will be no tolerance for them under any pretext.' At least eight people were killed and 19 others injured in a car explosion on Monday in central Delhi, near the historic Red Fort.
